There is now an EXERCISE PAGE that contains
exercises that students and groups should begin work on ASAP. All
exercises MUST be completed
before a final grade for this course will be assigned.
Note that the exercises are
intended to be just that: you will not be evaluated on them other
than complete/incomplete, and you are encouraged to get in touch with
Matt or your fellow classmates if you have difficulties with any of
them.

IMPORTANT!! Due to
difficulties in reserving an appropriate classroom, there has been a
scheduling change for the course. We will now meet
TUESDAY & THURSDAY 2:00 TO
3:30 PM --- HENNINGS 302
i.e. half an hour later than previously scheduled, but at least we can
meet in a reasonably-sized classroom in Hennings.
According to the schedules that were filled out on Thursday, this
should be OK with everyone, so let Matt know immediately if
there is a conflict. Also note that Matt will be in Toronto until
next Wednesday, so we will do the actual registration for the course
next Thursday.
