Using IRIS Explorer to display results from the Fastflo PDE solver. Most of the modules have been collected together in the Fastflo Examiner group whose control panel is on the left. Fastflo has calculated the flow around a Daimler-Benz automobile using a hexahedral grid, and these results are read into the IRIS Explorer map as a compressed pyramid. PyrToGeom generates solid contours of pressure (via its Texture Coloring option, new in IRIS Explorer 3.5) and VectorDisplay shows the velocity vectors at the nodes of the grid. Finally, the QueryLat module has been used to interrogate a pressure value at a point which has been selected by clicking with the mouse on the scene; its value is displayed in white.
