WriteLat

DESCRIPTION

WriteLat takes as input any lattice and a file name. It writes the lattice into the file in a form that can later be read by ReadLat.

Special codes may be embedded in the filename using the % notation documented in strftime(3). The code %n will be replaced by an incremented integer on each new firing.

Lattices can be written either in ASCII or binary, depending on the setting of the "Output Mode" widget. Binary is faster and smaller but ASCII is more readable.

The DataScribe can be used to create modules which also write out lattices. See Chapter 5 of the IRIS Explorer User's Guide for more information.
